Its variable low and high cut filters, ranging from 80 to 120Hz, offer flexibility in sound customization. Connecting to the Yamaha HS8S is a breeze with its stereo XLR or 1/4" TRS inputs, and it also includes stereo XLR extension sub outputs. To enhance sound accuracy, the Yamaha HS8S subwoofer is designed with a Low Resonance Enclosure, constructed with dense MDF and a damped acoustic response. Additionally, a traditional three-way mitered-joint technique anchors the corners of the enclosure for increased durability and reduced resonance that can impact overall sound.
