The Waves X-Hum Hum Removal Plug-in is created to reduce rumble, DC-offset, and hum while preserving excellent audio quality. X-Hum uses higher order filters with extremely narrow cut notches than those found in a typical EQ to attenuate hum.

The Waves X-Hum Hum Removal Plug-in features a friendly interface that’s a snap to learn and use. The Waves X-Hum uses eight harmonically linked notch filters to attenuate ground loop hum, DC offset, and low-frequency rumble caused by turntables and tape machines. The Waves X-Hum is part of the Waves Restoration bundle, which restores vinyl records and damaged recordings. It features frequency and amplitude attenuation display and audio and inverse monitoring.
