The Waves PuigChild 660 & 670 Compressor Plug-In combines PuigChild 670 Stereo and PuigChild 660 Mono to give the flexibility to choose the configuration best suited to your material. Both the components of this processor fully capture and replicate the sound and performance of the original equipment.

The Waves PuigChild 660 & 670 Compressor Plug-In is modeled on a rare vintage Fairchild 670. Throughout the vinyl era, the original Fairchild 660 and 670 compressors were ubiquitous: From the recording studio to the record lathe, the Fairchild was renowned for its advanced compression techniques and incomparable sound. Waves has collaborated with GRAMMY®-winning producer/engineer Jack Joseph Puig (U2, Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga) to capture every distinctive nuance and harmonic detail of the vintage Fairchild 670 device housed in Jack’s own studio.
