The Waves DigiGrid IOC Audio Interface is the 'Swiss Army Knife' of the DiGiGrid range, providing a multitude of valuable I/O capabilities (16 x AES I/O, 8-channel ADC/DAC, 1 x ADAT) needed either in the studio control room, or at the Front Of House position for a system running Waves eMotion LV1. Make sure that you leave a place for the IOC in your DiGiGrid system!

The Waves DigiGrid IOC Control Room I/O Audio Interface is perfect for the control room. With the Waves DigiGrid IOC and a dedicated SoundGrid DSP server on your network, you will be able to run up to hundreds of SoundGrid-compatible Waves and third-party plugins, all fully integrated within your DAW of choice. Just plug the Waves DigiGrid IOC into your SoundGrid network using a single Ethernet cable, and you will enter a new world of real-time tracking, mixing and monitoring, with extremely low latency of only 0.8 milliseconds. The Waves DigiGrid IOC Audio Interface offers a range of connectivity options, including 2 mic/line inputs with broadcast-grade preamps, 8 line inputs/outputs, and 16 AES and ADAT inputs/outputs, plus two powerful headphone outputs.

The Waves DigiGrid IOC Audio Interface is the 'Swiss Army Knife' of the DiGiGrid range, providing a multitude of valuable I/O capabilities (16 x AES I/O, 8-channel ADC/DAC, 1 x ADAT) needed either in the studio control room, or at the Front Of House position for a system running Waves eMotion LV1. The IOC makes a perfect mate for engineers/studios already running a 16-channel AD/DA converter with AES/EBU I/O connectivity (Lynx Aurora 16, Apogee Symphony I/O, Mytek 8x192, for example), and provides an additional 8-channels of strong AD/DA converter design courtesy of famed British digital console manufacturer DiGiCo. With DiGiGrid getting audio onto the network is the important consideration. And the IOC makes integration of a SoundGrid server for increased mixing horsepower an easy integration, as well giving you ultra-fast connectivity and system latency of 0.8ms! So, DiGiGrid makes recording a rock-solid experience together with the eMotion ST Mixer and SoundGrid Studio architecture. The IOC becomes a Front Of House mixer's best friend in an eMotion LV1 rig as it gives them 2 x microphone preamps for talk-back, and 2 x headphone amplifiers at the mix position while a couple of DiGiGrid IOX at the stage handle all of the needed input mic-preamps and outputs for monitors, mains and fills. The 8x8 ADC/DAC on a pair of DB25 connectors, allows the FOH to integrate analog gear in the driverack for processing vocals and more. And for special boutique preamps at the stage, an IOC at that location will be a handy helper, as well. There's even an ADAT I/O for anyone looking to integrate that into a live or studio scenario. Definitely a problem solver, for sure! So, when you're designing your dream DiGiGrid SoundGrid system, be sure to have at least an IOC in the plans as they'll be some of the most used pieces, for sure.
