The Universal Audio 1176 Studio Compressor Pedal gives you three variations of compression that emulates the highly coveted 1176 FET Compressor, in a compact pedal for the studio or the stage. From subtle to punchy, to outright crunchy, this is a pinnacle of guitar compression.

The Universal Audio 1176 Studio Compressor Pedal gives you authentic UA 1176 compression, Single, Dual, and Sustain compression modes, simple "vintage style" controls, Parallel mode, and true/buffered bypass. From the subtle squeeze of a single 1176 to the endless sustain of two units in parallel ala' Lowell George or the compressed crunch of Led Zeppelin IV, you can get the same iconic tones and effects heard on thousands of classic records with a trio of legendary 1176 setups. The 1176 has you covered from slithery ’70s slide to chicking picking and funk, 1176 Studio Compressor gives you iconic squeeze for any genre. With simple Attack and Release controls, plus infinite Ratio settings and infamous “all buttons in” for smashed sounds, you’ll get classic tones, and tons more.

Personalize your Pedal with a Mobile App
With the UAFX Control app, you can tweak footswitch settings, adjust realtime effects, and customize unique oscillation sounds to blast your tones into the stratosphere.

Power Requirements
All UAFX Pedals require an external power supply (sold separately). The Universal Audio UAFX Power Supply is a 9v DC/400mA wall-wart style isolated power supply. It is a universal power supply and includes multiple plug adapters (for the US, UK, EU, and AUS/NZ), so you are good to go with your UAFX Pedal, around the globe!

    This is a fun pedal with a lot of options. Really can get an 1176 vibe at your feet. I've used this not only on guitar, but vocals live too. It can add some real snap, especially in a bad where vocals need to cut through a mix.
