The Ultimate Support MS-90-45B 45" Studio Monitor Stands offer exceptional innovation, strength, and functionality for your studio monitoring needs. The stands offer a solution that provides surface decoupling via top mounted rubber decoupling pads and spiked, rubber covered feet. Three internal channels provide the option to pass cables through the base of the stand, while a larger internal channel allows you to add shot or sand for additional absorption and weight. The Ultimate Support MS-90/45 is available in Red (MS-90/45R) and Black (MS-90/45B).
Sonic Isolation and Decoupling
From top to bottom, all three MS MKII Series stands feature sonic isolation and decoupling components. The MS-90 delivers four non-marring sound decoupling pads that stabilize monitors of varying sizes. The MS-100 and MS-90 feature two rubber couplers between the column and the top/bottom plates and spike decoupling designs under the top and bottom base plates. Three Internal Channels for Cable and Weight Management
The MS-100 and MS-90 offer three internal channels that run the length of the column. So your studio remains clear of untidy cables, two channels are designed for audio and power respectively. For additional stability, the larger third channel can be filled with shot or sand.

Solid 45" Monitor Stands (+ alteration)
Aug 11th 2017Very Satisfied with these monitor stands, with an alteration, and many Thanks to FEA's great staff!! Ordered a set of Ultimate stands with the tiltable isolation pads - looked like the model would be 42" but were instead the 36" stands (not identified as such). Talked with FEA, and they helped me out so much! ID'd stands, then confirmed with Ultimate that the top plates and iso pads for the 36" stands were compatible with the 45" stands. Immediately ordered the MS-90-45B stands (no adjustable iso pad). They were on back order for a while, but FEA staff kept me informed all the way! Received the stands, assembled (with weight), put the 45" stands/tilting iso pads with the main rig, and the 36" stands with flat plates with the B rig, and we're very happy with both! Solid, look good, and the adjustable iso pads work fine.
