The Softube Console 1 MKII Software Mixer
The Softube Console 1 MKII Software Mixer is a control surface for Softube’s Console 1 plugins which are channel strip emulations of classic consoles. Right out of the box, you get Softube’s emulation of the famous Solid State Logic 4000 E console. Everything from 4 bands of EQ, compression, filters, harmonic saturation with the Drive and Character controls, and a handy Shape section that allows you to gate and even add sustain or punch to your signal! This channel strip plugin can be added to any or all tracks in your DAW and you can use the hardware mixer to control it! There are even handy buttons at the top that allow you to cycle between tracks. Combine all of this with a Solo button, Mute button, and a volume knob for your track level, you can mix an entire song using only Console 1! Softube offers quite a few options for recording console emulations that can be purchased separately. You’re able to mix and match them too! Maybe you like the SSL 4000 E’s EQ but you need the compressor from the American Class A channel strip (API emulation). You can do that no problem!
