RMP-D8 8-channel Microphone Preamp
Feb 14th 2024I got the Waves LV1, Waves Sonic Scope, and Waves 1- C Server from Frontend, and also added a Digigrid IOC to my largely otherwise analog live setup, in order to have the automation that digital allows when added to an analog set-up. Then I found a nearly half-priced used RMP-D8 8-channel Microphone Preamp which is quite rare to find used. I've owned and still own Shelford Channels, Portico II Channels and others, and the RMP-D8 8-channel Microphone Preamp is by far the best-sounding mic pre I've ever owned, and that's saying something considering the the other great-sounding RND products made. The fact that you get 8 of the best-sounding pre's out there with Dante and AES outs, making the RMP-D8 Microphone Preamp a great value, even for $6000.
