    I put this into two mics modified to be close to the C12 circuit, started out as Apex 460s, and also used the Peluso CEK-12 capsules. I did all the mods except the transformer first, and the mics were sounding pretty good with the stock Apex transformers but a bit sharp and strident, then, I put in the T14-1 and there was a profound improvement in smoothness, warmth, fullness. This is a top quality transformer and I think I'll be using it again in my "251" style build.
