Front End Audio strongly recommends purchasing the Peluso Saddle & Stem with this capsule, as most stock Saddle & Stems do not fit Peluso replacement capsules.

    After combing many mic upgrade forums, I settled on the Peluso P-K47 Mic Capsule to enhance my Apex 460, just as advertised it works like a charm. Front End Audio provided easy checkout, fast shipping and excellent communication, making for a comfortable experience. Thanx, Front End.

    The capsule appears well-made and acoustic testing suggests performance is as expected. (See all testing results at AcousticTrax.org (www.acoustictrax.org/gear/microphones/capsules). The capsule's back-plate mounting holes are uniformly spaced at 90 deg and the matching saddle is recommended. The capsule was well packaged but did not include a wire with 2mm solder-lug for attachment to the back-plate. The original mic back-plate wire was re-used but the missing wire seems a silly oversight.
