The Pearl Microphones CC22 Microphone is the extremely useful microphone with a very flat frequency response. It delivers an extremely natural sound and is an ideal choice for almost any studio application.

The Pearl Microphones CC22 Microphone is the Pearl's most popular microphone, designed for Studio and Live applications. This microphone is a cardioid without any switches. The Pearl Microphones CC22 uses the classic Pearl large rectangular dual membrane capsule, which unlike the common type of round, large-diaphragm condensers, the Pearl's unique rectangular membrane capsule gives a very flat frequency response. As a result, the Pearl Microphones CC22 sounds extremely natural and uncolored to the ear, which makes it an excellent choice for capturing the nuances and timbre of Vocals, acoustic guitar, string sections, woodwind, percussion..... the list of typical Pearl CC22 usage is almost endless.

The Pearl Microphones CC22 Microphone is the cardioid sister in the 22 family and probably the model you'll find most useful in most situations. Its 30mm diameter, side access design often makes it possible to capture sound where traditional condensers simply won't fit. Besides using the Pearl Microphones CC22 Microphone as a mono microphone, it can also be used in a pair for XY stereo or as the cardioid element in an MS stereo setup.

The Pearl Microphones CC22 Microphones is finished in piano black ED lacquer with a yellow logo, ring and engraved model number.

The Pearl Microphones CC22 Condenser Microphone is a flat-out winner. Just listen to our clips; the CC22 would have a difficult time sounding bad on anything. There really is something to the whole rectangular diaphragm design that makes for flatter frequency response and less distortion of the sonic image. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well, one of the big-name manufacturers decided to imitate with their own rectangular diaphragm microphone. But it costs an arm and a leg. The CC22 is incredibly reasonable and due to their workhorse performance, a pair of Pearl CC22s will see use in your studio every day, making them a great investment.
