Feb 19th 2021Nice little pair of mics. The mic clips are quite convenient making placement a breeze and they sound exactly like what you'd expect sdc's in this range to sound like. I'm liking them a lot for overheads and looking forward to the time when I'll be able to record in ambient spaces with them.

Good value so far
May 8th 2018I haven’t had a chance to try these on the intended source (a 1972 Martin D-35 - in the shop getting “renewed”), but tried them out with an old Epiphone dreadnaught style. They are clear, clean, and balanced, though I’m not sure just how “matched” a pair they are — though admittedly I haven’t done anything remotely like a fair A/B test. All in all, for the price, for interchangeable cardiod and omni capsules for each, plus an in-line pad for each...it’s a great deal and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
