The Mojave Audio MA-201fet Microphone is a stellar vocal microphone. It's rich warm character is drenched in musical smoothness. The solid state designs provide a slightly tighter and more forward sound that really projects the vocals up front letting them take center stage.

The Mojave Audio MA-201fet Microphonet is a large diaphragm fixed cardioid FET condenser microphone. Designed by David Royer, the MA-201fet gives a warm and full bodied musical tone. The MA-201fet features a 3-micron gold-sputtered capsule, Jensen audio transformer, military-grade FET, and custom designed low-noise resistors. The MA-201fet provides a performance level on par with classic loved microphones.

    So good it's almost silly. You can buy a $3000 mic, or get 2 of these and save $1600. It's a steal.

The Mojave Audio MA-201fet Microphone has become one of my favorite microphone for vocals. It has a bold forward sound, with a smooth rich full bodied musicality that give power to a vocal. If you are looking for a vocal mic that gives you that rich tone that is in the vein of a 67 or 49, that will make sure your vocals have heft and take the spotlight, this is a mic to highly consider.
