    For recording/outboard, I only use Mogami gold. I don’t see the point in risking clarity loss with cheaper cables. I haven’t ever run into any problems using them; they come with amazing build quality and durability, and I expect them to last me years. They are worth the price in my opinion.

    I have a nice $700 dollar keyboard in my little home studio, and could not figure why I was getting such an awful sound out of a nice keyboard and a nice interface (Korg SP250 and Apogee Duet). The answer? I was running old, run down cables bought from a garage sale some time ago. When I made the upgrade to these Mogami's, sending the keyboard in stereo to the Duet, I heard for the first time what I thought I should be hearing, a clean, well defined, sound in all registers. This is NOT a waste of money, buy some Mogami's (they are higher quality than Monster and used in far more professional studio's than the latter), don't skimp on cables in an otherwise good chain!

A signal chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. As a result, Front End Audio recommends Mogami cabling to our customers when they want to get the best possible transfer of signal with the least amount of injected RF or EM noise. Seriously, why would you spend thousands of dollars on a preamps, mixers, summing amps, digital converters, equalizers and compressors, guitars, amplifiers, studio monitors,etc... and use crap cables? When your cabling improvement becomes cumulative (from bow to stern, as it were), the improvement is night and day if you were able to flip a switch and compare the two. Still, if you have ears, you'll be able to tell right away when your studio is wired with Mogami. How do we know? Front End Audio's studio is wired with Mogami because we need to hear the gear we recommend clearly and accurately. And since we wired up with Mogami, we know that what we hear is right on the money. Bring the studio-standard home and hear the difference yourself.
