Everything Latch Lake is top notch
Apr 23rd 2023This simple package of nuts will make your life so much better. Bigger nut - higher torque - higher torque - lower chance of the mic drooping - flopping on a drum head while the magic take is happening.

Jul 20th 2022Something like this will probably seem trivial to most if asked. But for me and my pop filter that mounts below the mic these large nuts with nice knurled edges make the entire setup and mic swapping quicker and easier--not to mention when they're on a rock solid Latch Lake stand. The combination is a blessing we don't realize until we experience it.

Jul 4th 2017These big jam nuts are so much better than the usual mic nuts. They are larger, easier to grip, and feel more effective. In my opinion, the only con is that, because they are larger, there may be some applications where other pieces of gear—like the Grace Design Part Number E422—won't interface.

Brilliant and simple
Jul 9th 2015I bought a bunch of these, and now I can't live without them. They're large enough to allow you to tighten mic clips, shockmounts and other accessories onto stands without having to resort to pliers or stressing your fingertips. Kudos to Latch Lake!

Latch Lake Jam Nuts...
Jan 19th 2013Who would have thought that such an innocuous piece of musical hardware could make such a difference? These Latch Lake Jam nuts are fantastic! Now all I have to do is find mic stands that are worthy of the Jam nuts! I have purchased and use several makes of mic stands - some well-known and of good quality, and some lesser expensive stands - all in an attempt to find good ones. So far what I've found is that the Latch Lake Jam Nuts put my mic stands to shame! Money well spent, and I'll be stocking up with more of them.
