Good deal excellenet service
Aug 8th 2021These were an upgrade for me from basic speakers. I do not have a treated room, and I have not attempted to use the rear panel to configure them, but they sound great without that - even compared to my studio level headphones. This is a nice package and Frontend Audio's service was great. I don't record or mix low end bass so I cannot say how they compare for that.

great value, must learn their characteristics
May 17th 2012Among monitors of this price range, these babies really shine. Great option for home studios utilizing consumer-level interfaces and cheaper D/A conversion in untreated rooms, as folks in these situations really don't benefit from the increased fidelity of the really expensive monitors out there. They lose a bit in the bass and mid bass, so pairing them with a sub really helps. Pair these with some great headphones as a hi-fi reality check.
