The Heil Boom C-Clamp is the ideal way to mount your Heil PL2T, Heil SB-2 or Heil HB-1 boom when space is at a premium

The Heil Boom C-Clamp features brass insert for smooth, low friction from side to side. The brass insert accepts up to 1/2″/13mm stem. The clamp easily mounts to work surface up to 2″/50.8mm thick.

    While not as bulky as the original that came with the PL2T, this replacement C-Clamp seems solid. I am assuming improvements in the strengths of the metals used have allowed it to be made thinner and lighter. Time will tell if it holds up as long as the original.
