The Fostex PM-SUBmini 2 Subwoofer is an active subwoofer that allows you to enjoy a high-quality music environment in combination with Fostex active speaker systems such as PM0.3 or PM0.1.
The Fostex PM-SUBmini 2 Subwoofer is a small yet powerful subwoofer system which has been designed to fit perfectly with the best selling Fostex PM0.3/0.3d as well as the newly announced PM0.1 monitor speaker system in both the sound characteristics and the physical size. The Fostex PM-SUBmini 2 can also be added to your existing compact speakers thanks to the through-terminal for satellite speakers and variable crossover frequency control between 60/150Hz.

- 5-Inch (13cm) Woofer specially designed to reproduce powerful lows in a compact enclosure box.
- The driver features high rigid fiber glass material for the diaphragm and the center cap.
- The voice coil is 4-layer wound to control the mid/highs for better lows.
- The physical measurements are exactly same as 2 x PM0.3/0.3d (except for the depth) which gives the perfect matching to the popular desktop speaker system.
- Closed type enclosure box with raftered front baffle.
- Highly efficient 50W digital amplifier with built-in PSU.
- Variable crossover frequency control between 60 / 150Hz and phase reverse switch for easy adjustment to match such main speakers as PM0.1, PM0.3/0.3d as well as any other compact speakers.
- Signal is fed to main speakers even while the power turns off.
- Automatic energy saving function puts the Fostex PM-SUBmini 2 into sleep mode consuming only 0.5W or less after approx. 15 min. of no signal input.

Excellent for a small space
Jan 27th 2021I purchased this for a tiny home office I built in the garage to work from home during Covid - paired with a set of Orb Audio speakers and Audio Engine amplifier the sound is just what I was looking for. Larger subs were too much bass, this provides great deep bass in my small space which is very balanced - super happy with it

Capable Little Subwoofer!
Dec 15th 2017I was wary when I first ordered this. I have a compact system with an SMSL AD18 and a set of excellent coaxial speakers. I needed a small sub to fill out the low end. After I pulled the trigger I started having buyers remorse thinking that this thing would only work with the Fostex powered speakers. Glad to say I was wrong. Using the sub out on my AD18, I split the signal to two RCA plugs and hooked them up to this unit. The output from the amp is more than enough to allow as much output from the sub as I need. The sound is tight and while it may not rattle the walls, it is more than enough to provide a nice bottom end to supplement my speakers.
