The Dramstic Audio Obsidian 500 is a stereo VCA program compressor with TXIO-enhanced transformer balanced I/O. 500 series module, in two slot design.
The Obsidian stereo buss compressor is not just another VCA-Based clone of the "G series comp". Herald by many producers, the Obsidian is often referred to as the best sounding buss-comp it it's class, even about the G series comp itself. This is all attributed to the innovative design, expanded feature set, and the importantly unique input and output transformer use in it's signal path. These characteristics all comes together with dynamic impact, punch, and "glue", you love about that classic 4000 console sound, with the addition of incredible sonic depth and range that other VCA comps fall flat on.
