The Coles 4115 Ribbon Microphone is a broadcaster's noise cancelling ribbon microphone used for close indoor talking situations where good quality broadcasting and public address announcement speech is required to be reproduced in conditions with high background noise present.

There are two special versions for use in aircraft where, in addition to the other requirements, it needs to be compatible with the aircraft's electronics.
