The Coles 4038 Stereo Bar is designed to allow you mount two Cole 4038 Microphones adjacent to each other for stereo recording configurations.

The Coles 4038 Stereo Bar mounts two microphones on the same stand for stereo recording or to conserve space. The Coles 4038 Stereo Bar offers greater stereo separation and potentially better room ambience. Both ends of the bar have right sizes to screw into the bottom of your Coles 4038 Studio Ribbon Microphones. Perfect for Blumlein or MS (mid-side) stereo configuration, the Coles 4038 Stereo Bar accommodates two figure-8 microphones positioned in such a way that the elements cross each other at right angles and so close to one another.
