Soyuz Announces their new SU-013 Small Diaphragm Condenser

Soyuz Microphones has announced the release of their new SU-013 small diaphragm condenser microphone. The SU-013 features an interchangeable capsule design, with available Cardioid, Hypercardioid, and Omni capsules. "The Soyuz Microphones SU-013AC Microphone features the same capsule as their SU-011 tube microphone but with a FET pre-amp. With more than a year of research and development, Soyuz worked very hard to develop their own proprietary transformer, which gives the SU-013AC a rich and beautiful sound. As with all their microphones, the SU-013AC is 100% handmade in the Soyuz facility in Russia" – aiming to make this a versatile mic for the studio.

The Soyuz SU-013 is available in four different configurations:

Soyuz SU-013 = Single mic – with Cardioid capsule, -10dB pad, mic clip, and wooden storage box.

Soyuz SU-013AC Set = Single mic – with Cardioid, Hypercardioid, and Omni capsules, -10dB pad, mic clip, and wooden storage box.

Soyuz SU-013M Matched Pair = Factory match pair of mics - with Cardioid capsules, -10dB pads, mic clips, and a wooden storage box.

Soyuz SU-013MAC Match Pair Set = Factory match pair of mics - with Cardioid, Hypercardioid, and Omni capsules, -10dB pads, mic clips, and a wooden storage box.

All the above configurations are available in the classic Soyuz Cream and Brass finish, or sleek black finish. This is definitely a mic to keep an eye one.
