Rupert Neve Releases the 5254 Dual Diode Bridge Compressor

Rupert Neve Designs has released the 5254 Dual Diode Bridge Compressor. The 5254 reinvents the classic 1970's Neve compressors that are revered for the "punch, definition, and glue they give to drums, instruments, and mix bus". The 5254 is not a simple recreation of the vintage Neve diode bridge compressors, they combine the tonal richness of the yesteryear comps with modern improvements that were not possible back then.

Based on the original dynamics circuit for the Shelford Channel, the 5254 Dual Diode Bridge Compressor is built to produce a wide range of colors, as well as feature modern enhancements - including: "advanced timing control, significantly lower noise, fully stepped controls throughout, higher voltage power rails, and internal parallel processing capabilities."

These new features supporting a vintage character that is backed by the Rupert Neve name create a strong and versatile compressor that will provide the tone and precision, to help you make a statement with your music.
