Universal Audio has just released the new Universal Audio SP-1 Pencil Microphones! The SP-1 microphones are available in a stereo matched pair and at a great price point! The launch price for the pair is $399.00. This is a nice follow up to the recently released, Universal Audio SD-1 Dynamic Microphone which has been very popular since it’s debut!

The SP-1 microphones are small diaphragm condensers with a cardioid polar pattern. The microphone set comes with two mic stand mounts, a stereo T-bar, two foam windscreens and two 5/8 to 3/8 adapters. Universal Audio has also included channel strip presets for Universal Audio Apollo users. The Apollo presets can be helpful to quickly dial in a good starting point for your recordings.
