The Heritage Audio Tubesessor Optical Tube Compressor is Heritage Audio´s take on the virtually unobtainable classic blue-faced optical tube compressor.

A unique design with top-of-the-line components, custom input and output transformers, and high-quality tubes operating at a very high internal voltage ensures clarity, depth and headroom that's hard to match. The Tubesessor has an innovative tube saturation section allowing you to spice things up with four levels of hotness including Classic, Mild, Medium or Hot. 

There are also five internal sidechain settings that mirror the exact same filter section that helped the SUCCESSOR obtain its legendary status. Two of the options make sure the compressor is not overpowered by lower frequencies and the other three are frequency specific options to get creative with.

Continuously adjustable Attack and Release controls along with Fixed mode or any combination of the two give you complete control so you can sculpt your signal precisely to your liking.  And last but not least, the large, custom, backlit VU meter doesn't just set the mood and bring the vibe, it also monitors Input, Output and Gain Reduction. 

As with other tube gear from Heritage Audio, the Tubesessor uses only top quality, highly-regarded NOS tubes and custom transformers for fully transformer balanced input and output.
