The Audix FP7 Drum Microphone Kit meets all the performance criteria required for pro stage and studio applications. Offering quality, durability, and affordability, it includes 1 x F5 dynamic, 2 x F2 dynamics and 1 x F6 dynamic microphones.
The Audix FP7 Drum Microphone Kit is a packaged set of high quality drum and percussion microphones. The Audix revolutionized drum and percussion miking by designing instrument specific microphones. With the introduction of the Fusion Series, Audix created two attractively priced packages for today's up and coming professionals. The FP7 Drum Pack contains a combination of F2, F5 and F6 dynamic microphones and the F9 condenser for overheads. The F5 is tuned for snare drum and can be used as well for bongos, timbales, guitar cabinets and acoustic instruments; the F2 dynamic microphone is ideally suited for rack and floor toms, congas, djembe, bongos, timbales, brass and woodwind instruments. The F6, with its extended bass response, is designed for kick drum, bass cabinets, cajon and other low frequency instruments. The F9 condenser microphone is intended for cymbals and hi-hat. Built to withstand the rigors of live stage applications, the Fusion Series microphones are also excellent for rehearsal, school, House of Worship and a wide variety of home recording applications.
Audix F2 Dynamic Instrument Microphone - For Rack Toms, Floor Toms, Congas
The Audix F2 Dynamic Instrument Microphone is best used for miking instruments requiring mid-bass and mid-high reproduction in live and studio applications. Its hypercardioid pick-up pattern helps to minimize feedback and isolate the instrument from ambient sound coming from the room or other instruments on stage. Low impedance and balanced output on the Audix F2 allow interference-free performance. Compact and durable, the Audix F2 hypercardioid instrument microphone features a cast zinc alloy body, steel mesh grill and gold plated XLR connector.
Audix F5 Dynamic Instrument Microphone - For Snare, Timbale, Guitar Cabs
The Audix F5 Dynamic Instrument Microphone is an ideal choice for snare, toms, percussion and acoustic instruments in live and studio applications. A hypercardioid pick-up pattern helps to minimize feedback and isolate the instrument from ambient sound. The Audix F5's low impedance and balanced output allow interference-free performance.
Audix F6 Microphone - For Kick drum, Cajon, Djembe, Bass Cabs
The Audix F6 dynamic instrument microphone is designed for instruments requiring bass reproduction in live and studio applications. The Audix F6's hypercardioid pick-up pattern helps to minimize feedback and isolate the instrument from ambient sounds on stage. The Audix F6 instrument microphone has low impedance and balanced output providing interference-free performance.
Audix F9 Microphone - For Overheads, Cymbals, High-Hat, Snare Bottom, Goodie Table, Acoustic Instruments
The Audix F9 all-purpose pencil condenser microphone is suited for instruments requiring detailed reproduction in mid-high and extended high end frequency ranges in live and studio applications. A wide cardioid pick-up pattern paired with high sensitivity, allows close, overhead and distance miking. With its low impedance and balanced output, the F9 instrument condenser microphone has interference-free performance. This microphone operates on phantom power of 12-48 V.
