The Audix Fireball Harmonic Microphone is an ultra-small professional dynamic instrument mic designed for harmonicas (both diatonic and chromatic) and beatbox. Clear, accurate and capable of handling SPLs in excess of 140 dB without distortion, the FireBall is ideally suited for both live stage and studio recording applications.
The Audix Fireball Harmonic Microphone has a smooth, uniform frequency response of 50 Hz - 16 kHz, and a cardioid pickup pattern for isolation and feedback control. It is lightweight, compact and comfortable to hold. The Audix FireBall is manufactured with a precision machined aluminum body, steel mesh grill and unique three stage marbled anodized finish. Because the Audix FireBall cardioid instrument microphone is a low impedance microphone, when using with a guitar amplifier, a quality, low-high impedance transformer (see T50k) is required.

Microphone Mount for Accordion Amplification
Oct 22nd 2014Pros It is small and light weight. Great feedback rejection. Frequency response for "live" gig. Accordion sounds real Beefy. Detachable XLR cable. No phantom power required. No shock mounted needed. Very good internal shock mount, usually I usually have to shock mount the microphones mounted to the Accordion, but not with the Fireball. No discernable handling noise, only the reed sounds of the Accordion. I believe Audix being Taiwanese? ( does assemble the Fireball "not the Fireball V" in the USA ) Cons None.
