The AKG MPAVL Phantom Power Adapter is used to establish a standard microphone XLR connection and phantom power for MicroMic wireless L Series microphones.

The AKG MPAVL Phantom Power Adapter is designed specifically for AKG MicroMic wireless L-type microphones like CK97-C/L, C411-L, and C417-L. It allows the user to connect an L-series microphone directly to a standard 3-pin XLR connection, for 9-52V phantom power. It comes with XLR connector for L type MicroMic microphones. It features a mini-XLR connection and standard XLR connection for inputs on mixers, amplifiers, etc. and allows usage of AKG's MicroMic "L" type microphones, with Standard 3 pin XLR connections. The AKG MPAVL Phantom Power Adapter also features an integrated bass roll-off switch to aid removal of unwanted rumble noise.

    It connects my "C516 ML MicroMic" direct to mixer

    I couldn't afford the wireless system and this phantom power adapter works nicely as an affordable alternative to using a wireless system. It works great with the phantom power from my mixer and my acoustic accordions sound great.
